Minister Ethel Chiles accepted her call into the
Ministry of Jesus Christ in 1996 when she was
licensed as an Evangelist under the oversight of
Senior Pastor, W. Carl Foster, of New Life
Ministries Church of Greensboro. There she served
as an Adult Sunday School Teacher, Choir Director
and Praise and Worship Leader. She became a
licensed Minister in 2004. She preaches the
revelation of God's Word that provides healing for
the wounded and hope for the weary. She has been
ministering God's Word for nearly 12 years with a
special desire to encourage and bless single women.
She has been a speaker at women's conferences,
panel sessions and weekly church services. Her
sincere desire is for women to know that you must
love yourself as God loves you BEFORE you
understand real love from man.

She served as an Advisory Board Member for the
Waljo Gospel Music Awards for 15 years. During
this time period, she also functioned as the Public
Relations Director and Event Manager for the
Annual Waljo Gospel Music Awards Black and
White Ball. The Waljo Gospel Music Awards
presented several renown gospel artists such as
Yolanda Adams, Hezekiah Walker and the Love
Fellowship Gospel Choir, Comedian Jonathan
Slocumb, Karen Clarke-Sheard, Milton Brunson, the
Mime Dancers, Daryl Coley, Pastor Darius Brooks,
Dorinda Clark-Cole, Tremaine Hawkins, and Walter
Hawkins, just to name a few.

ABOUT ETHEL CHILES

She earned a B.S. Degree in Marketing from
North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State
University and is near completion of a Masters
Degree in Business Administration. As a single
mother, she has taken joy in raising her son,
Carlton Lamar Chiles, who is a Minister of Music
at Bible Based Fellowship Ministries in Tampa,
Florida. He earned his Masters Degree in Industrial
Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and
Technical State University and now works as an
Industrial Engineer for Lockheed Martin. Minister
Chiles is the proud daughter of Mrs. Beatrice
Foster and the late Rev. Willie Cleo Foster from
Gaffney, SC. She relocated to Washington, DC,
and then on to Greensboro, NC. She is one of
seven children of whom one sister is an Associate
Pastor in Jefferson, Texas; one brother who is a
Pastor in Greensboro, NC and one sister who is a
psalmist and a member of the new urban gospel
group, Elder Todd Curry and Focus.

She is a living witness that God can take you
through a mess and make you a messenger while
birthing a ministry to carry forth His Word. She
believes that her light as a single mother has
reached out to other women with the message that
“With God all things are possible.” Her favorite
scripture is from Isaiah 40:31, which reads, “But
they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their
strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall
walk, and not faint”.
